Paytm Payments Bank Limited, A Company Owned By Paytm, A Leading Unified Payments Interface (UPI) Services Company, Has Launched A New Feature. UPI LITE Has Been Launched In Partnership With National Payments Corporation (NPCI) To Make Payments In Small Amounts. Paytm Payments Bank Announced That They Are The First Bank To Make This Facility Available. It Is Said That Small Transactions Can Be Done With A Single Click Through This Facility.

How Does UPI Lite Work?

Paytm Payments Bank (Paytm Payments Bank) Can Make Payments Of Small Amounts in THE NEWLY INTRODUCEd UPI Lite Wallet. A Maximum of Rs.200 Can Be Sent Instantly. A Maximum of Rs.2,000 can Be Added To This UPI Wallet. It Is Possible To Add Only Two Times In A Day. Paytm Payments Bank Said That Maximum Payments Can Be Made Up To Rs.4000 Per Day.

We Are Very Excited To Launch UPI Lite on Paytm Payments Bank. Through UPI Lite, Users Can Make Fast, Secure And Seamless Transactions Of Small Amounts. Up To 50 Percent Of Transactions Can Be Completed Regardless Of Their Core Bank For Transactions Below Rs.200. This Increases The Success Rate Of Transactions. NPCI COO Praveen Roy Further Added That the UPI Platform Will Further Process A Billion Transactions Per Day.

A Majority of UPI Transactions Are Of Value Below Rs.200. In This Order, Paytm Has Revealed That Digital Transactions Can Be Completed Faster With UPI Lite. On The Other Hand, Paytm Said that UPI Lite Transactions Will Only Appear In The Payment Balance History Section And Not In The Bank Account Passbook. It Is Known That Paytm Has Recently Introduced The Facility Of Sending Money Through Their App Regardless Of Any Registered UPI Mobile Number.
